Hi
Rob
and
Radomir
,
We have suppose to ask one issue during last call but somehow we forgot to discussed. We are facing issue of scheduled dtsearch index creation.
Actually, We have scheduled the process of dtsearch index generation as our requirement to generate it regularly so we have schedule it everyday at 2 AM. But sometimes dtsearch index generation getting fail due to some reason and we are doing manually to generate dtsearch index at that time. Are you know reason of this issue why it getting fail? please let me know what is cause of this issue or possibilities of this cause.
Following screen shot of we have scheduled dtsearch index by dtsearch Index Manager.
We are facing this issue since long. Please provide your feedback.
Thanks, Jitesh

Hi
Jitesh
, hard to answer your question about failing indexing without more info. In the index folder there should be a log file where there should be details about what went wrong. Maybe some index file was locked because file was in use (by search engine).

Hi
Rob
and
Radomir
,
Today again we have faced issue regarding DTSeacrh Scheduled Indexing Fail which Jitesh mentioned above.
Here, I have attached Fail Indexing Zip File. Please check and let us know if you will find something.
There are no errors reported in the logs. I see that indexer run at 2am but it indexing completed without errors - the only strange thing is number of documents in index is zero. Is the indexer properly setup? List of locations to index in the log is empty:
It will work for me and
