Document Flow

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,
I've made another video to walk you through the latest for the document editing flows. Hopefully this makes sense to you. I'm proposing that as soon as a user is assigned a task, they receive their task assignment, regardless of the person before them being done. I suggest this because if we assign tagging but not editing, we never run into a situation where a doc wasn't marked done tagging. For approvers, they can see the document state from the table that shows their assigned tasks. This is all in the video but wanted to clarify in case that part was confusing.

I still have to create some of the confirmation modals (for publishing changes, unpublishing a doc etc.,) and I have to create a disabled view for docs in a list when another using is editing that doc so we don't have 2 people opening a doc at the same time.

Here are the wireframes I go over: https://invis.io/4FK11L4792E Please click the grid icon in the bottom right and view these wireframes by their group (Document Task Views, Unassigned Task Views, and Assign Task Popovers).

Here too are the user flows I was discussing in the video.

Hi Stefanie Gibson, UX Researcher at Industrial Stefanie ,

Everything looks great! Thank you for putting this together so quickly. I'm fine with the user receiving their task assignment as soon as they're assigned the task. We may have some tricky situations where an HTML needs editing while a user is mid-tagging, but we can deal with this in our editing protocols.

Have a great weekend!

Morgan
