Document metafields
Hi Morgan,
Do you know what metafields we can expect for the P3 documents?
The P3 master list includes the following columns:
- Project Name
- Jurisdiction
- Public Partners
- Owner(s) of private partner(s)
- Debt/Equity Lender(s)
- Contractor(s)/Subcontractor(s)
Will all of these columns be added as metadata fields? Will they be visible to the user when searching for documents? Will it make sense for users to search and filter based on any of these columns?
Your current prototype infers the following metafields: sector, issue, topic, agreements. Will these all be populated for each document?

Yes, all the column headings in the Project List tab of the P3 Master List will be metadata fields for the documents (except column J, which is just for reference purposes).
Yes, they will be visible to users, and functionality should be created that allows users to sort, filter and search by this metadata.
Yes, sector, issue, topic, etc. will also be metadata fields, but I don't want it to be a fixed list. The platform should give admin users the flexibility of being able to add/change/delete metadata field as the document collection and taxonomy develops.
