Search Results

Hi Morgan,

In advance of our call today, I'm sending a revised wireframe of the search results page. I've tweaked a few labels and font sizes to be more realistic, and added real content to the search filter sidebar.

Thanks
Megan

Hi Morgan,

To follow up on the front end search requirements.

The sidebar now uses the multiselect pattern that is used in ISLG. User clicks on a dropdown, sees a list of checkboxes in the dropdown, starts typing to refine, then selects one or more checkboxes.

In the search result, I wrote up the requirements for the match count to say "x matches for TAG: compensation on termination" or "x matches on KEYWORD: "compensation"

And the search bar itself gives the user the choice of searching by keyword, or searching tag(s).

Looks great Megan. One clarification: in the last wireframe where the user selects "termination without cause" and "termination for default" perhaps there needs to some additional text that clarifies that selecting these options will only produce matches for tags, and not text within the documents (unless I'm misunderstanding the requirements). I'm worried users will get a false impression that selecting these options will perform a text search.

Yes, you're correct, those are tag searches. I'll modify the wireframe to make it more clear.

Great. Thanks Megan.
