Member site redesign

Hi Haley ,

We're on track to present the first round of wireframes next week, followed by revisions, then we're looking at early December to have the first design mockups. Our target milestones:

- Wireframes: Nov. 23
- Wireframes Revisions: Nov. 30
- Design mockups: Dec. 8
- Design mockups Revisions: Dec. 14th

Sorry Stephen, I should have clarified! I meant the eventual redesign of the member site (not the marketing site) behind the log in. 

Are you able to give us a high level timeline of when that phase will begin and end?

Sorry for the confusion - there is actually another Basecamp project regarding the Member site rebuild. I will add Quietly to this as well.

One clarification though: I assume you mean timeline for the full ISLG tool rebuild, not the small updates to the existing tool? ( Morgan might need to chime in on this too as I'm not sure we had confirmation that we would proceed with the changes to the latter.)

Hi Haley ,

Sorry, I misunderstood you on the phone earlier, I thought you were asking about the non-member site. The member site rebuild is a much larger project, and we're looking towards an early 2019 launch date. The project just got underway last week, so it's too early to predict exact timelines on the design, I anticipate the design taking several months to complete, given that we will be redesigning the interface of the application to incorporate new tools and features.

Having said that, as part of the the branding update on the non-member site, I would like to implement minor aesthetic changes to the member site (e.g., new logos, colours, fonts, etc.), which can be incorporated into any screenshots you'd like to use for the non-member site. 

Re the video, as we discussed, I'd like to avoid using screenshots of the member site, because numerous changes will be occurring during the rebuild. We should be able to easily swap-out still images as needed, but I want to avoid the need of redoing the video after the rebuild.

And yes, noted Morgan . We wanted to make sure we had the full picture before providing our video recommendations, so it's good to understand the scope of the member site redesign.
