Tologix.com email deliverability
Hi Morgan,
I figured I'd open a thread here so we can include Kev on the conversation.
It looks like our best path to solid deliverability of the contact form emails would be to register with and configure the site to send emails via a transactional email provider called Mailgun. We've used them in the past and they have a solid track record. While they are based in the US I have confirmed that they are fully GDPR compliant (https://www.mailgun.com/gdpr).
Currently the website sends emails via a built-in email service which is prone to getting caught in junk/spam folders as we are experiencing. Mailgun will override this built-in service and send all mail through their trusted servers. This also gives us much more logging and troubleshooting data should an email not reach its destination, although unlikely.
The form submissions are still stored within the Ninja Forms plugin on the Wordpress site, so there is no risk of losing a submission if an email wasn't received. That being said, it would be laborious for your team to have to log in and check all the time, so we want to make sure emails are going out.
If you'd like to move forward you will need to create a Mailgun account at https://signup.mailgun.com/new/signup. They do require a credit card to weed out spammers, however, their free tier includes 10,000 emails a month which you would likely never exceed. Once the sign up is completed please let us know the credentials and we'll take the rest from there.
Thanks!
Ryan
