Dependencies
The term “dependents” refers to understanding the interdependencies between the different data on the platform. For example, if data is added to the system concerning a new API patent filing, what other data in the system will be affected by this change in data. It’s important that we understand the scope of these dependencies, because they will influence the complexities of the design and the ultimate scope of the build.
