Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

It seems like you are moving tag itself as child branch, I think it should be not, are you asking for keep validation there? like at the time of move, itself tag should be not available in selection. Please provide tu your feedback.

Thanks,
Jitesh

Hi Jitesh Dhuravala, DevIT Jitesh ,

Yes, the move I attempted in the video should be possible. All tags should be movable into whatever position the admin user sees fit.

However, in the immediate term, please restore the order to remove the error so we can access the tag directory.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

Moving functionality it just replacing relationship with tag not creation or copy tag when you are moving so how it will be possible to move itself because itself already exists all hierarchy and we are not creating tag when moving so it will be not possible to move itself tag. Please provide your feedback.

We have restored tag previously did and now you will not get error.

Thanks,
Jitesh

Hi Jitesh Dhuravala, DevIT Jitesh ,

Could you please clarify your comment above, I don't understand it. In the example above I was trying to do the following:

Tag A
Tag B
Tag C

and then move to the following

Tag A
-- Tab B
Tag C

Where Tag B becomes a child of Tag A. Why shouldn't I be able to make this move?

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

Above given example is working fine, we have checked. But earlier provide video saying different thing, it was like you are selecting itself node as child but it is parent and we need to create node in that case and than move selected node as child. please check and provide your feedback.

Tomorrow, I will provide video to demonstrate.

Thanks,
Jitesh

OK, Jitesh Dhuravala, DevIT Jitesh . It sounds like you're saying is that nodes (first level tags) cannot be made children of other nodes (other first level tags). However, I'll add to the agenda for discussion tomorrow.

At the same time, if the action I attempted in the video creates an error, the system should prevent me from performing the action, rather than allowing it to happen and causing the error.

Thanks,

Morgan

Ok Jitesh Dhuravala, DevIT Jitesh , but let's talk about it first, because I'm not sure I'm sold on the fact that I can't perform the action above. Moving nodes under nodes is something I would expect in the requirements.

Hi Jitesh Dhuravala, DevIT Jitesh ,

Once you confirm that the action of adding a node to itself is blocked, rather than generating an error, I'll mark this to-do complete.

Now, In tag directory the action of moving a node to itself is blocked. Please check in both site dev and SME and provide your feedback.
