Apr 10: Initial Research Tools

On April 10, Industrial presented our initial approach to the subject navigator, article citator and jurisprudence citator tools.

Feedback from the meeting:
  • We should likely pursue tree structure
  • We should do a version that goes 4 or 5 levels deep to make sure nesting content in the tree will work 
  • Try a version with the extract displayed within the tree before going to the document
  • Within the article citator, we need to re-investigate the Jurisprudence citator relationship
  • We need to reconsider where the article will live and how it is displayed- should it link to treaties and rules? 
  • In Jurisprudence Citator, there's no reason to sort paragraphs, users know what paragraph they're coming in here for - we do, however, need to sort cases
