January 12th Deployment

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about next week's deployment on January 12th, and since this is going to be the last major release before we launch on the 25th, wouldn't it make sense for us to deploy the release on both rebuild.islg and reduilddemo.islg? 

Also, to ensure comprehensive UAT can be performed, wouldn't it also make sense to migrate and sync the data between the two platforms? This will need to be done before launch, and because this is the last major release before launch, I assume there will not be a need to wipe data from either platform going forward.

Please circulate your thoughts.

As per our plan, We will deploy the 12th Jan release on rebuilddemo.islg only. Because, rebuild.islg data & code is considering our production environment. so we can not deploy on rebuild.islg without complete the UAT.

Once the UAT will be completed on rebuilddemo.islg then will release same thing on rebuild.islg.

Also, it is not possible now as of now to sync & migrated database on rebuilddemo.islg & rebuild.islg,  becuse the development is going on and we are deploying all things on rebuilddemo.islg for UAT. Once all UAT & Development will be completed then will sync both databases.

Tomorrow, we will execute only queries on rebuild.islg to resolve the loading time issues on Subscriber side.

Understood re the January 12th deployment. However, I'm getting concerned that there are number of issues passing UAT on rebuildemo.islg that are still problems on rebuild.islg. For example, see the discrepancy in the Subject Navigator search here:  Re: Problem with Subject Navigator Analysis List - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild.

Also, there are number of requirements in the January 12th deployment that are needed on rebuild.islg for my team to start adding content and getting it ready for launch. Our initial plan had us starting that work today, but now it looks like that might not happen until next week or later.

Could you and Ketan Sondarva, Technical Project Manager at DevIT Ketan please confirm when rebuild.islg and rebuilddemo.islg will be synced and migrated in feature requirements and data. This date is key to planning the launch, because we'll need at least two weeks between that date and launch.
