Login to Subscriber site via specific content in Marketing Site

Further to a discussion we had during last week's team meeting, I would like to raise the issue and discuss more substantively about giving users the ability to directly access content on the subscriber site via the marketing site. The idea is that when a user is viewing content on the marketing site and they are presented with the applicable callout with a login option...
... logging in (via IP access or username/password) would take the user directly to the applicable content on the subscriber side of ISLG.
Based on previous discussions, there was some hesitancy to confirm that this was technically feasible. Let's ensure we discuss and understand the requirements, and then implement them accordingly.
