Meta-field Management: User values from field functionality

Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan Ketan Sondarva, Technical Project Manager at DevIT Ketan Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh

I have reviewed the Dispute columns in the meta-data field map spreadsheet, and given what  have already found, it looks as though this should be in place sooner rather than later. I have found these references for disputes in the spreadsheet:

  • K-17 — Non-State Respondents: There is an ability to add multiple of these. This pulls from an existing entries for Non-State Respondent list; however, if there is not a match, the user can add text as new entry in Non-State Respondent list.

  • K-68 — Non-disputing parties: There is an ability to add multiple of these. This pulls from an existing entries for Non-Disputing Parties and Claimants in the Dispute section; however, if there is not a match, the user can add a new entry to the Non-Disputing Parties list.

  • K- 86, 90, 103, 106, 109, 112, 115, 140, 144, 147, 150, 153, 156, 159 etc  —  Relevant Document(s): Pulls entries from the Dispute Documents master list and only entries from the same Dispute.

  • K-92  —  Challenged Arbitrators: Pulls entries from the People master list that are selected under Tribunal, Annulment Committee, Tribunal (Rebumission) or Annulment Committee (Resubmission) above.

Please note in order to accommodate the first two points, we will have to adjust the criteria of the user story to include pulling values from specific field on all master list records of a certain type. Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh I will add this and you can let me know if you need clarification.

OK, Melissa Cowell, General Manager at Industrial Melissa . If we're basing this assessment on the ability to search through an existing list of values from a different master list, and then adding a new value to the list directly through the selected field, I believe this applies to a larger number of fields including the following:

  • Dispute:
    • Non-State Respondent(s) (K17)
    • Counsel (Claimant): Person (K18)
    • Counsel (Claimant): Organization (K19)
    • Counsel (Respondent): Person (K23)
    • Counsel (Respondent): Organization (K24)
    • Associate Another Organization (K25)
    • Arbitrator (President) (K28)
    • Arbitrator (K32)
    • Arbitrator (K36)
    • Tribunal Secretary (K40)
    • Committee Member (President) (K42)
    • Committee Member (K44)
    • Committee Member (K46)
    • Arbitrator (President) (K48)
    • Arbitrator (K52)
    • Arbitrator (K56)
    • Tribunal Secretary (K60)
    • Committee Member (President) (K62)
    • Committee Member (K64)
    • Committee Member (K66)
    • Non-Disputing Parties (K68)
    • Quantum Expert (K71)
    • Place of Arbitration (K73)
  • Terms & Phrases:
    • Term or Phrase (DX4)
  • People:
    • Organization(s) (BU10)
    • Bar Admission(s) (BK13)

And yes, given the applicability to a wide range of fields, this make delivering this requirement more urgent.

Thanks,

Morgan
