TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild

Problem with session tracking in app.islg

Hi Naomi Joanis, UX Team Lead at Industrial Naomi ,

Further to the video below, I noticed two issues with session tracking in app.islg:
  1. Session did not end after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Group's session details are not accessible through the Subscriber side of the application for Group Managers.
Could you confirm whether these issues are being worked on within existing user stories before we raise them as issues with DevIT.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

There do seem to be some regression issues occurring that I tested around 2 weeks ago and were working. For example, on staging, I am again not receiving a session timeout message after 30 minutes of inactivity (opened a tab in incognito mode and left it for 50 minutes minimized).

The issue you logged above though is a bug that is currently in testing (https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/entity/21437-staging-session-end-greater-session-is) so I will be sure to test that when it comes through UAT.

I will also retest the whole session tracking flow (ending the session on browser/window close, ending the session after 30-minute prompt, the difference in messaging for the various session tracking settings etc.) when this session timeout card comes through UAT (https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/entity/21504-st-greater-session-timeout-behaviour-for) to keep things from getting too confusing with this feature.

Regarding the session details, if you press the 'back' arrow button on the session details page you should be able to see the group session information.

I hope that clarifies a bit!

OK. Thanks for clarifying Naomi Joanis, UX Team Lead at Industrial Naomi .

Understood re the session timeout issue. I'll let this get resolved through UAT.

However, re the group session details. Does this mean there is no way for a group manager to generate a group session details report similar to that accessible through the admin site, which shows usage across all users within one report?

If not, this is something we'll need to put on the to-do list post-launch.

Morgan
