Upcoming milestones and deliverables

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

The UX Team and I had a quick discussion today, and have laid out the following milestones, deliverables, and key dates for the project.

- Research Report (observation session findings, usability review, personas, Google Analytics findings) => March 6th (UX team will present findings to you)

- Task Analysis working session (where we'll define most important and frequent tasks). => March 9th (yourself and UX team; can take up to 3 hours; depending on your availability, this may need to be more than one session)

- Feature strategy => Late-March (TBD)

Also: we should begin thinking about holding user observation sessions for the Admin side - if you have identified users that would be available for this, we can look at scheduling these any time.

For the dates above, let me know if they work for you and I'll propose some times and schedule them in.

Everything above looks good. A session on March 9th works. I'm available anytime between 9:30 and 5 that day.

Yes, I discussed performing user observations with my team this morning. I think these should be performed with the following:

  • Irit Weinfeld, Document Manager: focusing on the document upload process and DCD upload process;
  • Paul Moon, Director of Legal Content: focusing on adding/maintaining the Subject Navigator;
  • Subash Kuttan, Sales and Communications Manager: managing the subscriber management system; and
  • Marysia Raptis, Office Manager: generating usage reports and updating IP address ranges.
They are all generally available during normal Vancouver office hours (except Paul works remotely Mondays and Wednesdays, and Irit works part-time and works remotely in Ottawa).

I've scheduled the Task Analysis session for March 9th.

For the Admin-side user observation sessions, our UX team is free most days next week between 10am and 2pm PST (1pm and 4pm EST).
