LOW PRIORITY

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Jitesh Dhuravala, DevIT Jitesh :

ISLG's Dispute Documents tab provides many filters that users could choose from. As shown below, "Select/Filter By Applicable Rules" is one of the filters, and there are currently 14 arbitration rules.
https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/disputedirectory/disputedocument?toc=disputedirectory&id=10

The first task is to change the wording of "Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Rules (1988)" to "SCC Arbitration Rules (1988)."  The same goes for the 1999 and 2010 versions. This is what I want to see when you edit the three versions: SCC Arbitration Rules (1988), SCC Arbitration Rules (1999), and SCC Arbitration Rules (2010). You can leave "SCC Arbitration Rules (2007)" as is.

The second and main task is to add the following seven arbitration rules to the existing 14 arbitration rules. When you complete this task, I want to see all 21 arbitration rules listed under "Select/Filter By Applicable Rules." Please see attached file for URLs of those 7 arbitration rules on the Admin site. Also, please don't include "(citation and source)" or "(citation)" in the title when you make these arbitration rules appear on the live site filter for ARB/0064 and ARB/0072.

To give you some context about how these arbitration rules are related to Dispute Documents, we normally could choose the applicable arbitration rule(s) on admin site as shown below. ICC Arbitration Rules (2012) is chosen in this example for OT/0031
https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/CoreComponents/AssociateDispute?dispute_number_id=868

The "Applicable arbitration rules" dropdown menu highlighted lists all arbitration rules we've uploaded already, but not all of them need to appear on the live site filter (e.g. ICSID Conciliation Rules (1984)).

On the live site, the OT/0031 is shown as below. The correct applicable arbitration rules of ICC Rules of Arbitration (2012) is displayed, but the "Select/Filter By Applicable Rules" does not currently show ICC Rules of Arbitration (2012) as one of the filter options. When you finish adding the seven arbitration rules I've indicated above, any existing document under Dispute Documents would have its applicable rule shown as one of the filter options.

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

We are not getting idea in this change what we need to do.
Is it Priority item ? If yes, then will take call next week to discuss this thing.
Paul Moon
Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

This was not a priority item, but you mentioned you will get it done by the end of March, so we need to address this as it is almost September.

There are two main tasks as I mentioned above: 1) change any  "Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Rules" to "SCC Arbitration Rules" on the live site "Select/Filter by Applicable Rules" that I captured above as the first image; and 2) ensure the 7 arbitration rules that currently do not appear under "Select/Filter by Applicable Rules" are displayed on the live site, so users could select any of the 7 as a filter option.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

To clarify a little further on what Paul Moon Paul has described above, if a dispute has been associated with an Arbitration Rules entry: https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/CoreComponents/AssociateDispute?dispute_number_id=868
it should appear in the list of options available in the Arbitration Rules filter in Dispute Documents: https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/disputedirectory/disputedocument?toc=disputedirectory&id=10
The list of options should be the same as those listed in the Full Text Search: https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/ResearchTools/FullTextSearch?toc=content&id=97&tab=r
Thanks,

Morgan
