Notes
Further to the video below, we discovered an issue today where an anomalous batch of groups under the title "derainsg14" have been created on the admin site: https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/subscribers/AddEditGroup. These groups were not created by any ISLG admin user, and we can't pinpoint how or who created these groups. It is very concerning given that these groups were created in the production environment.

Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Jignesh Suthar Jignesh , could you please investigate and identify where these groups originated from, and then we'll decide the next course of action to deal with the problem.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

We have checked database group table for those anomalous batch of groups under the title "derainsg14" but it is not possible to found that who is entered those groups because in our existing table structure there are no any field like when data is entered and who is the user.

We have seen all "derainsg14" entries in group table and found that the data is entered for "Number of Individual Account" and all Individual account number is different so we assume that these entries are created by any user from Group creation page.

We will add following two fields in existing table so in future we will catch up the log who did this kind of entries.

1) Created By - User Name
2) Date

Also, Please let us know how we will deal with those entries ? Can we delete from table ?

Ok. Thanks Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh . Will these new columns be visible to admin user on the group page, or is this just something you'll see within the back-end of the database?

Yes, please delete all the groups titled "derainsg14", and we'll monitor things going forward.

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan

It is just for back end database. If anything this kind of activity will happen in future then will help us to find how this things occured.

Thanks Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh . Is there any way outside of accessing the database for us to confirm?

Ryan
Morgan Maguire, CEO
Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan , I'm fine with having to pull the entries directly from the SQL database to confirm this information. This should only occur in rare circumstances where we get these anomalous entries.

I'll mark the to-do complete.
