Notes
Further to the video below, we've discovered another compatibility issue with Firefox and IE, this time within the session information window. In additional to resolving this immediate problem, is there a way for us to identify the common thread that is causing these problems with Firefox and IE. We've identified a number of problems over the past few weeks, and I'd prefer to come up with a global solution that doesn't require testing each element of the application in every browser.

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

Actually, The navigate button class "link" is not supported by Firefox. Hence, We have changed the navigate button class across whole site on dev.islg and its works fine.

Please check and let us know the feedback.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh

I've discovered an issue (I've confirmed in both Chrome and Firefox) where clicking "Return to session information window" after updating an existing Client & Matter entry just refreshes the window rather than dismissing it. See video:

Please reload the page with Ctrl+ F5 key to load JS script properly. Because, we have checked again  this issue and it is working fine on dev.islg.

Hi Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan ,

I can't recreate the problem you're experiencing. It's working well for me on dev.islg on Chrome, Firefox, Edge and IE.

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan and Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh

It's still happening for me for some reason. Could you confirm if you're editing a matter then Update before clicking "Return to Session Information Window?". It seems to only be an issue after I do that.

Hi Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan ,

Could you please provide your browser details ? Are you checking in Mac system ?
Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial
Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh

Yes, it's on Mac, Chrome 65. Also in Firefox 60.

It's very strange. I've also tried a new account, added a new client/matter, then edited with the same result. When testing on my PC I'm seeing the issue as well.

Could it be data-related for my test accounts?

Hi Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan and Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan , Actually, We have forgot to upload this change for normal user account. Because of that you were not able to see the change on dev.islg.

I and Morgan were checked this issue with Group Manager account. Therefore, it is working fine for both of us.

Now, We have uploaded the changes for both account on dev.islg.

Please check and confirm.

Good catch Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh . The problem is resolved now for both normal users and group managers. However, further to the screenshot below, the comment list for normal users is all messed up. Could we updated this so that all the relevant information matches up with the relevant columns in the table (as it currently does for group managers).

Thanks,

Morgan
