, the logos need to be greyed out to match the existing logos on the page. Could you please make the necessary modifications.
Monica
We are also updating the testimonials listed on the Homepage and About us page. For the homepage: http://dev.investorstatelawguide.com/, could we please add the following testimonials:
“An invaluable resource for our investment arbitration practice.”– Markus Burgstaller, Partner, Hogan Lovells International LLP
“ISLG is a phenomenal tool. It basically does the research for you! Powerful and easy to use, it makes getting to right answer much quicker. I love that there are so many ways to conduct research (by topic, rules, treaty, case). The subject-matter navigator is particularly useful at providing an overview of the case law regarding a specific issue. Highly recommended!”– Elisa Botero, Associate, Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP“ISLG is an unparalleled database database of primary materials in investor state law and is supported by a powerful search engine. It is useful to practitioners and academics alike and equally practical for new and seasoned users. The lack of secondary material and the focus on primary sources focuses the mind to what really matters. Even when I have conducted my own independent research I always double-check with the ISLG database.”– Professor Loukas Mistelis, Director, School of International Arbitration, Centre for Commerical Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London
For the About Use page: http://dev.investorstatelawguide.com/about-islg, we are adding the following testimonials:
“Quite simply, the leading resource for investor-state law.”– John Templeman, Counsel, King & Spalding LLP“With its intuitive interface and specific research tools, including the subject-matter navigator and the jurisprudence citator, ISLG has revolutionized the way we do research in connection with investor-State disputes. It is now indispensable to professionals in the field.”– Noor Davies, Associate, White & Case LLP“Investor-State LawGuide is one of the main databases about foreign direct investment in combination with international arbitration on the Peace Palace Library website. ISLG is very useful in finding ICSID awards and bilateral investment treaties (Full-text). The refinement options in searching result in a perfect navigation through the guide and the annotations are the final touch.”– Raymond Ridderhof, International, Comparative and Foreign Law Librarian, Peace Palace University , could you please modify the logos and headshots to match the format we're currently using for testimonials.

I addition to the above, could please remove the Fordham University logo from the Organizations that Use ISLG section: https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/
We have removed the Fordham University logo from dev.islg.
Thanks,
Morgan
Yes, they are in colour, but we need to have the images cropped into a circle as was done previously. Would it be possible for you to do this?
Thanks,
Morgan

Thanks,
Morgan
We have uploaded logos under Organization tab on dev.islg. But, we need to re-format the size of following logs.
1) Xiamen University
2) Erasmus University
3) Peace Palace Library
If we are going to add more than 3 testimonials in home page and about us page then testimonials slider card is not working properly. Please refer following screenshot and do needful.

Morgan
The size is 96x96. Going forward, it's not a problem for us to resize/reformat the images.

In addition, the White & Case logo should be displayed when viewed on a mobile device:

We have assigned appropriate link to logos on dev.islg. Please check and confirm.
For the testimonial slider design, it is unable to accommodate 3 testimonials.
An alternate solution if
The logo links look good.
Hi
Let's go with a redesign. I would like to incorporate all the testimonials as requested above (and in the order I've specified). Would it be possible to create something similar to the logos above where all the testimonials can be scrolled through (or selected with the dots below)?
Thanks,
Morgan
The new testimonial design has been built and can be previewed here.: http://tologix-islg-html.s3-website.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/
It should now allow an endless number of testimonials.
Thanks,
Morgan
Morgan
We have updated the testimonials of home page on dev.islg. If it will be OK then we will do same process for About Us Page.
Please check and let us know the feedback.
With the varying lengths in the testimonials the design doesn't look great, I'm investigating ways to make it look better and will post an update here.
Do the the varying lengths we had to limit the slider to display one testimonial at a time, the updated design can be found here: http://tologix-islg-html.s3-website.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/
I'm not a fan that only one testimonial is presented in the updated design. Is there a way to resolve the issue while presenting more than one testimonial on the page? Could we create something similar to the original design with the rotating cards, but can accommodate more than three testimonials?
Thanks,
Morgan
The problem is that some of the testimonials have a significant amount of text while others have very little.
If you are ok with the disparity in white-space we can leave it as is on http://dev.investorstatelawguide.com/
When I say original, I'm referring to version currently on www.islg.
This seemed to accommodate varying amounts of text. Can we modify this to make is accommodate more than 3 testimonials?
Thanks,
Morgan
I apologize for the delay. I have updated this page with an updated slider based on the original design with the ability to accommodate unlimited testimonials of varying lengths. http://tologix-islg-html.s3-website.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/
The HTML structure had to change again so the updates will require uploading these files as well as updating the markup to match my example page
The changes look good; however, is it possible to make the slider cards longer horizontally, rather than vertically (similar to before):
Before:
Now:
I find it easier to read, and it looks better with a wider screen.
Thanks,
Morgan
The tall card style is directly related to the varying lengths of content. If we don't set a consistent height on the cards you will have awkward alignment throughout the slider.
That said I pushed an update that should at least improve the sizing of the cards.
This works. Thanks for making the change.
Thanks,
Morgan
We have updated testimonials on both home and about us page on dev.islg.
Please check and let us know the feedback. (http://dev.investorstatelawguide.com/)
Looks pretty good, but two outstanding issues:
1. The testimonial cards are presented in the appropriate order, but I do not like how it loads the page on the first card rather than the third as instructed above:
dev.islg
www.islg
2. Part of the text is cut-off when viewing the testimonial on a mobile device (see screenshot below).
Thanks,
Morgan
Please do needful to adjust the cut-off text from testimonials and also please guide us how to set default card as third position rather then first.
It looks like the most up to date CSS is not being used please replace with the CSS file attached here. I have also included updated JS which will set the third testimonial as the default.
Please check and let us know the feedback.
Thanks,
Morgan
I noted a couple of things:
Thanks,
Liam
Please implement all the changes pointed out by
Thanks,
Morgan
We have resolved all issued except first one on dev.islg. Please check and confirm.
For First bubble point issue, As per our html structure Elisa Botero's is always display on first bubble because we have default set 3rd bubble when the page is loading first time.
To fix the "pop" issue please add a transition delay to the testimonials in your CSS.
.testimonial{
transition-delay:0.4s;
}
We have added above line in CSS file to fix the "pop" issue on dev.islg.
Morgan
I reviewed the Homepage and About Us, and did not see any other issues.
Liam
Thanks,
Morgan
We have migrated this task on www.islg. Please check and confirm.
Morgan
It's looking good to me on www.islg. Liam, please confirm.
Thanks!
Ryan
Further to the video below, there is a discrepancy in the way the testimonials are getting displayed between dev.islg and www.islg for mobile devices. Could you please ensure www.islg displays the way it does on dev.islg.
Thanks,
Morgan
I have checked testimonials on mobile device and it is working fine on both dev.islg and www.islg.
I've run tests on a few different mobile devices and I'm not seeing the same issue. Morgan, I suspect it's cache-related. Could you please try refreshing a few times, or if you are able to manually clear it through your settings? If you're still experiencing the same issue then please let me know the Model and OS of your phone and I can try matching it exactly in the emulator.
Thanks!
Ryan
