Notes
Further to the video below, there doesn't appear to be an ability to modify the document UIN. Could you please confirm whether these are the correct requirements, because I'm not sure how to deal with the situation outlined in the video

Due to the way UINs are being generated we have agreed with DevIT that these will not be editable once an initial draft has been saved.

Once the document upload process is added, the implementation will change slightly from what's currently on ILG however this comment from Target Process re: ISLG summarizes the requirement:

"Further to our discussion this morning, please allow for editing of UINs for all master entries when the entry is first being created. The only exception to the rule will be for Dispute Documents entries where the first part of the UIN (which is formed by the Dispute UIN) will not be editable. For example, if IC/0001/01 is generated for a new dispute document entry, the admin user will be able to edit the bold text of the dispute document UIN, but will not be able to edit remaining text, because it is tied to Dispute UIN IC/0001. However, master list entries where the UIN is not tied to another UIN, the admin user should have the ability to make edits as necessary when they are creating the entry."

For ILG this means, when a document is initially being added some of the UIN would be editable, however, once that document is saved the UIN is locked.

Let me know if you would like further clarification.

Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan upon closer review, UINs are not being dynamically generated in ILG. Since this is the case, I see no reason why these should not be editable.

I will create a bug for this.
