Further to the video below, currently tagged excerpts do not present any of the formatting from the HTML. This needs to change, we need to ensure excerpts are presented with all the formatting (bullets, etc.) from the HTML so that users can properly read the excerpts text.
Thanks,
Morgan
I have created a bug for this on the admin side here: https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/RestUI/Board.aspx#page=board/5661532064567160038&appConfig=eyJhY2lkIjoiNTBFODBFN0M1RkNFMDJDREQ3MjFFRjYwM0NFNzdGQUQifQ==&boardPopup=bug/20462/silent
and on the subscriber side here: https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/RestUI/Board.aspx#page=board/5757498339396675872&appConfig=eyJhY2lkIjoiMUVBNzRGNTE4NTIwNjE3REEzNjU1QjNFREE2NjAzQ0IifQ==&boardPopup=bug/20466/silent
Both are in the backlog
Morgan
The subscriber side card: https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/RestUI/Board.aspx#page=board/5757498339396675872&appConfig=eyJhY2lkIjoiMUVBNzRGNTE4NTIwNjE3REEzNjU1QjNFREE2NjAzQ0IifQ==&boardPopup=bug/20466/silent has been moved to done in target process.
Where is your testing being performed, because I received the following results here on the admin site: http://www.infrastructurelawguide.com/Admin/Tag
Thanks,
Morgan
This card for the admin side hasn't yet gone to UAT, so it hasn't been fixed on that side. For the subscriber side I tested in the dev environment, and it needs to be on a newly uploaded document.
Ok. Understood.
Note the existing tagging represents months of work that cannot be easily reproduced in a new document, so we have to figure out how retain this data and resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Morgan
Following up on our discussion about the above on viewing existing tagging content within the subscriber site of www.ilg, this issue was discussed specifically during my board meeting today and it's critical that we get this issue resolved as a high priority.
Thanks,
Morgan
Now, you can also see the existing tagging content at www.ilg in both site subscriber and admin. But please consider the previous tagging display without formatting because that tagging does not meet the formatting problem resolution requirement. We have resolved tagged content format issue in last release so after last release tagged content will be display in format as per HTML.
Please provide your feedback.
Thanks,
Jitesh
Please check respected user story in Targetprocess with Acceptance criteria and make this To Do's as completed.
Thanks,
Jitesh
We need to figure out a way present the existing tagging data from www.ilg that allow us to see the formatting from the original HTML. As you can see from the screenshot the presentation of the text current removes all the formatting, which makes it indecipherable to read: http://www.infrastructurelawguide.com/SearchDocuments/ViewTagExcerpts?tagDocumentId=84&tagId=193&oper=tag&keyCount=1
What solutions do you propose? Is there a way for you to convert the existing tagging data into the form compatible with the updated presentation that includes the formatting? Also, how does this relate the problem issue of identifying the relevant paragraphs for the applicable excerpts: https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/restui/board.aspx?#page=bug/18395&appConfig=eyJhY2lkIjoiN0Q5ODA2RTFGMzEwMThCMjMzQTVEN0RGOThBNTNBQTYifQ==?
Thanks,
Morgan
We are working on to figure out a way present the existing tagging data from www.ilg that allow user to see the formatting from the original HTML. We will update you once done.
It is not relate the problem issue of identifying the relevant paragraphs for the applicable excerpts, it is already resolved in 22th Jan 2021 release. I have commented in TargetProcess for same.
Thanks,
Jitesh
Thanks,
Morgan
Following up on this to notify you that the admin side issue has been resolved, although with the same caveats as the subscriber side issue (format only is kept for new data uploaded). I've moved this to closed, however, I can move both the above cards back to open if the remaining discussion on these points needs to be tracked through target process as well.
I spoke pre-maturely regarding the admin side issue. I've moved the card back to planned as I am still seeing some issues with the formatting, even on newly tagged, newly uploaded documents. Please note the corresponding admin side card is in 'planned' in target process.
We have resolved issue in the existing tagging data from www.ilg. Now user can to see the formatting from the original HTML, Please check and provide your feedback.
Thanks,
Jitesh
Further to the video below, the tagging data is not available on the subscriber side of www.ilg: http://www.infrastructurelawguide.com/SearchDocuments
Thanks,
Morgan
There is only one document published which have "Notices to Parties" and "Notices to Representatives" tags so select button show in above 2 tags.
Thanks,
Hiren
Further to my video above and screenshots below, excerpts have been created for the the relevant branches on the admin site: http://www.infrastructurelawguide.com/Admin/Tag
but those excerpts are not appearing on the subscriber side of the application: http://www.infrastructurelawguide.com/SearchDocuments
Also, the loading times for opening the Browse by Topic and opening topic branches within the tree on the subscriber side are very slow (4-5 seconds). Particularly, when compared to the loading times on the admin site. Let's ensure these loading times are improved as well.
Thanks,
Morgan
we are displaying only published document at subscriber side and
Document "ON-0133-0001-01 - Herb Gray Parkway (Windsor-Essex) - Project Agreement-01" status is tagging in progress.
Thanks,
Hiren
Thanks,
Morgan
All the tagged documents and schedules have been published, and this seems to be reflected on the subscriber side.
Thanks,
Katrina
Morgan
Further to the video below, there are still some significant problems with viewing results within the subscriber side of the application:
I'm not sure if these were issues previously reported by
Morgan
Currently, When you click "View tagged excerpts", We are showing all tagged excerpts in the subscriber side. We will only show tagged excerpts those belongs to particular tagged (topic) but we are showing according to the P3 prototype.
We will make changes as instructed in the video provided.
Thanks,
Jitesh
We have done changes as per provided video, When you click "View tagged excerpts", We are showing only tagged excerpts belongs to that topic only in the subscriber side.
Thanks,
Jitesh
The update presentation of excerpts looks good. However, please see the video below on the way the browse by excerpt function work when viewing the entire document. Could you please fix this so that it only focuses on the excerpts that are applicable to the results. Also, I'm confused on why keyword results are being presented when I'm searching by topic.
Lastly, the speed of the subscriber is side is painfully slow.
Thanks,
Morgan
Regarding the keyword results, there was never explicit criteria for this document view page, as the behaviour was meant to stay consistent with how it worked in the prototype. That being said there are definitely clear bugs that are still happening that aren't working as expected (for example the arrows to browse tagged excerpts).
Also,
Thanks,
Morgan
We are looking into speed of the subscriber side of the application. we will update you soon.
Thanks,
Jitesh
I've logged this issue here: https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/entity/22738-browse-tagged-highlights-greater-arrows-dont.
I notice there are some cards in UAT for ILG subscriber side, according to priorities I can look further into the document view behaviour in testing the browse/search criteria as some of those cards have been moved.
We have improve performance in browse by topic from subscriber side, please provide your feedback.
Thanks,
Jitesh
All issue of this To do's including arrows don't work and performance issue has been resolved. Please confirm and provide your feedback.
Thanks,
Jitesh
Is this a problem with the HTML or the way the application is rendering the HTML. I noticed the same problem when you view the entire document:
Thanks,
Morgan
it is problem in html not in rendering. also we have uploaded document in dev environment and it is converted as per expectation.
http://dev.infrastructurelawguide.com/Admin/Document/EditDocument?DocumentId=3317&rand=1616658280360
I think, it is old document and current conversion algorithm converted document as per our expectation.
Thanks,
Jitesh
