Problem with PDF to HTML conversion

Further to the video below, a problem occurred when attempting to upload a lower quality PDF document. The system indicated that the document had been successful processed and converted to HTML, but the HTML output is blank: http://p3lg.tologix.com/Document/EditDocument?DocumentId=296. Please examine why this occurred, and resolve the problem.

Anil, is it possible the success message is appearing before it's actually complete?

Further to the videos below, a couple of issues to examine and resolve:
  • System does not recognize that a document has been deleted from the database, and prevents uploading the same document again.
  • As Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan suggested, there appears to be a delay between when the check-mark and the availability of the HTML document.
  • Loading the the document can take a very long. Either we speed up the loading time, or we create an additional load option for the HTML are the user is presented with the document edit page.

  • As Ryan Knuth, Customer Support Manager at Industrial Ryan suggested, there appears to be a delay between when the check-mark and the availability of the HTML document. - Looking like this is a caching issue as we were not able to produce this at our end. We have done some changes and uploaded on demo URL. Can you clear your cache and check again?
  • Loading the the document can take a very long. Either we speed up the loading time, or we create an additional load option for the HTML are the user is presented with the document edit page. - This is because of a big size of the html file which is loaded in the HTML editor. As you suggested we can put one more button "View Html".

I've confirmed the ability to re-upload deleted documents and the checkmark caching doesn't seem to be an issue anymore for the couple of documents I tested uploading.

Understood. I'll clear my cache, and run more tests this afternoon.

The "View HTML" sounds like a good option to me. It's an extra click, but I think it will save admin users the agony of loading the HTML every time they want to make a small edit to the document.

These 2 files was generated as blank files because of a bug exists before we implemented "View HTML" button. I have regenerated these 2 html files. Can you check again and confirm?

Things appears to be working well with the PDF to HTML conversion, including the the HTML button.

However, further to the video below, I'm experiencing the same issue I had before where the system is telling me a document already exists when it is not on the system The document I am attempting to upload is the following:

Please ensure that all records of a document are deleted from the database when they are deleted from the admin site.
