TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild

Ability to copy DCD Analysis to other Dispute Documents

Assigned to

Notes
Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

I'm going to post this in internal to-dos for now.

Dispute Documents UN/0040/64 and UN/0041/57 are the same PDF as UN/0039/57.
DCD Analysis is almost complete for UN/0039/57.  It's a heavy document with a lot of Analysis tags.
These same tags will have to be added to the HTMLs for UN/0040/64 and UN/0041/57.  Currently, the only way we are able to do this on app.islg is to manually enter the tags to the other two HTMLs.

Can you think of any way we can copy the Analysis from one and add it to the other two?
Happy to discuss this whenever you have time this week.

Thanks!
Irit

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit ,

I am recapping just to make sure I got all the important points:
  1. We have 3 identical PDF documents with 3 different names
  2. We have successfully converted the PDF document to HTML
  3. Tagging/analysis on the HTML document is almost finished for UN/0039/57
  4. We want to duplicate the HTML document to UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57
  5. We also want to duplicate tags/analysis to UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57

If the above is correct, then I think the dev team can perform the tasks #4 and #5 above.

Let me know if we should proceed, and how fast you need it done. I can then create a DevOps item, and further discuss with Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush to find the best way to do this.

Thanks,
-Martin

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

That is correct.  I can create the HTML for UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57.
If DevIT can perform task #5 that would be great.

Nafiseh Arghandehpour, Legal Content Manager at ISLG Nafiseh , do you have a date in mind for when you want the Analysis to be copied to UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57?

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit ,

We want the analysis under UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57 ready by next Wednesday (March 16th).

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit ,

You will not need to create the HTML (step #4). This needs to be handled by the dev team, as we must be 100% certain that we are dealing with identical HTML documents for this to work.

Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush : I have created task https://dev.azure.com/tologix/ISLGRebuild/_workitems/edit/1624 to track this. Do we have enough capacity to fit this in our sprint without affecting the servers migration?

I believe the best way to achieve this task is:
  1. Copy the HTML file twice
  2. For each copied HTML:
    1. Rename it with proper UIN
    2. Find & Replace the UIN in tag IDs
  3. Copy all related tag/analysis data in SQL, and link to new UINs

Thanks,
-Martin

Hi  Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

As we discussed, task #4 is complete. The HTMLs for UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57 have been created and uploaded to app.islg.   I replaced the HTML ID tags accordingly.

Thank you,
Irit

Thanks, Irit Weinfeld Irit .

Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush : this means that you only need to focus on copying all related tag/analysis data in SQL from UN/0039/57, and apply them to  UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57.
Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix
Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush , we fixed a few issues with the HTML documents and I have attached them here.

Can you update them on app.islg? I tried to do it myself, but I see duplicate copies of each file and not sure which one should be replaced:
So, to recap, here are the steps we need you to do:
  1. Copy the 2 attached file to app.islg (wwwroot\documents\HTMLfiles) and replace corresponding files
  2. In SQL, copy all related tag/analysis data of UN/0039/57, and create new entries for both UN/0040/64 and UN 0041/57
  3. Have Ujjaval perform a quick check on the 2 new documents to make sure that tags/analysis show as it does in UN/0039/57.
Thanks!

Update: Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush has uploaded the HTML files, and made the necessary database changes to replicate the tags to the other 2 documents.

Ujjaval Vyas, DevIT Ujjaval needs to give it a test, and if it passes testing, this task will be completed by Monday.

Wow! Sounds great!

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin
I have verified the above mentioned changes according to instructions. But I have found some minor issues due to verifying changes, that I have discussed and shared with the resp. Developer Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush
So, once the assigned issues will be resolved then I can verify and give you updates.
Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix
Hi Ujjaval Vyas, DevIT Ujjaval ,

Thanks for the update.
Are the issues related to the document itself, or the tag data in SQL?

Thanks,
-Martin
Ujjaval Vyas, DevIT
Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin
The found issues are :
1) Under the Document Text Tooltip details of the subject navigator tag are incorrect on UN/0040/64 (According to UN/0039/57)
2) Also, some tags highlighted content position are a bit misplaced  (tag matched on UN/0040/64 and UN/0041/57 but different on UN/0039/57)
So according to the issue, it seems like in jQuery (Document side) if we found more will let you know.

Thanks
Irit Weinfeld
Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

We only need the Citator entries copied.  Subject Navigator transfer won't work the same way. We plan to enter the SN data manually.

Hi Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush
The above assigned issues have been fixed and verified.

Thanks

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit ,

This task is done on app.islg. Please check and confirm. We have removed all SN tags on app.islg.
