The reason the option "Ability to add another" is disabled for a "Yes/No Toggle" field type is that there is no way to add a third option to a toggle, as a toggle is meant to be a binary choice ("Yes/No" in this instance).
If we want to offer a binary choice, but with the ability to add extra options, the proper way to do this would be to choose a "Dropdown Field" and then enable "Ability to add another".

I understand your explanation. When this was first requested back in 2020, we were hoping to use multiple Yes/No toggles instead of the current Yes/No toggle which subsequently load a contingent dropdown menu that we have now. Since we will not be changing how we capture legal analytics now, I will mark it done.
