Steps:

  • Open UIN Master, Dispute Document tab: Filter Column K (Type of Document) by "10" (Separate Opinion) (Note: Only audit Primary version documents)
  • Go to app.islg admin. Using IC/0048/07 as an example. Scroll to bottom. Check for duplicate UIN entries under Related Document(s) field and Decision or Award associated with Separate Opinion.  If the same UIN is in both fields, create a draft and then delete the duplicate UIN form the Related Document(s) field.

In this example, UIN IC/0048/03 appears under Related Document(s) field and Decision or Award associated with Separate Opinion field.  Delete UIN IC/0048/03 from the Related Document(s) field.

  • Next, go to the related award/decision.  In this example, that would be UIN IC/0048/03.
  • Go to app.islg admin. Scroll to bottom of IC/0048/03. Check for duplicate UIN entries under Separate Opinion field and Related Document(s) field.  If the same UIN is in both fields, create a draft and then delete the duplicate UIN form the Related Document(s) field. 
In this example, UIN IC/0048/07 appears under Related Document(s) field and Separate Opinion field.  Delete UIN IC/0048/07 from the Related Document(s) field.

Yes, what you did is correct. You went through the primary versions and you removed "Related Document(s)" in both the Dissenting/Separate Opinions & relevant Decisions.
