Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Further to the issue above, it appears certain Treaties (and perhaps Arbitration Rules) were not a assigned a status within the master list record, and this is preventing the documents from appearing on the Subscriber site.

When resolving this issue, let's ensure a similar issue isn't occurring across all the master lists (Dispute, Dispute Documents, Treaties, Arbitration Rules, etc.).

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan and Paul Moon Paul ,

The above data we treated as Skip upload functionality. It means There are Placeholder data. No need of PDF & Html. Hence, We are not add any status for skip uploaded functionality in new application.

For Those data we are treated as only master entry. Hence, We are not display ant status on those data.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

Understood re: skip upload functionality as most UINs without status on the new admin site are either "(citation and source)" or "(citation)." However, there are two outstanding issues.

1. BIT/0107 (see the video above), BIT/0121, BIT/0619, BIT/1025 and FTA/0037 (potentially more) should not have been uploaded as placeholder data. In other words, they do need HTML & PDF. The legacy admin site contains XMLs for all five UINs that should have been HTML'd, but the new admin site does not have HTMLs (provision descriptions seem to have migrated). Please ensure to convert the existing XMLs for the five UINs above to HTML.

2. There are approximately 900 UINs without status under Treaties. This is an issue as the lack of status prevents any of them from appearing under, for example, Article Citator. This will reduce the number of documents users can see under each instrument on the new live site compared to the legacy live site. Please see the video below.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Following-up on the above, we had a discussion on this issue, and I think there may be some confusion between the documents above and the documents that were flagged here: Re: XML Files Not available - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild. Could you please confirm that the document above have been integrated into the new application as follows:
  • Upload entries without HTML or PDF
  • Set Placeholder field to "Yes"
  • Set the status to "Active"
  • Set the document state to "Published"
Note that this a different state from the documents specified in the other to-do.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Taking a closer look a the issue originally reported above, there is a problem with BIT/0107. This document should not have been uploaded with "skip upload" functionality.

The UIN Master List specified that this document should be available in the new application with an HTML and PDF:

And the XML was available in the legacy application: https://www.investorstatelawguide.com/CoreComponents/Agreements_BitsEdit?toc=editXml&agreementID=200

What explains why this documents was assigned "skip upload" functionality?

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

In UIN master list spread sheet the Type of XML document (column w) contains as Placeholder with Citation and URL.

Hence, We are considering this document under skip upload functionality.

Thanks Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh .

Paul Moon Paul , it looks like we may have a problem in the UIN Master List we provided Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh . Let's have a call today to discuss how we resolve this issue. My suggestion is that we do something similar to what I've suggested here: Re: XML Files Not available - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

Since there were two separate issues, I'll address them separately.

Attached is the updated UIN Master List where I updated column X of the five UINs listed above to either "Full XML Document" or "XML excerpts" and highlighted them in yellow. Please pull XMLs from the legacy app, convert them into HTML and upload them on the new site.

Attached below is the list of UINs that are currently missing "Status" (document state) on the rebuild admin site. I've added "Published" in column N and highlighted them in yellow where you need to add "Status" (document state). As Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan specified above, each UIN needs to be uploaded this way:

The UINs listed in the attached sheet below are currently uploaded without HTML/PDF, placeholder field set to "Yes" ("true" in the spreadsheet column J)  and Active/Inactive status is set to "Active," but they are missing "Published" under document "Status" (what is described as "document state" in the screen capture above) as shown below.

Please add "Published" under "Status" (document state) to the 897 UINs listed in the spreadsheet.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

For issue #2 above, as we discussed yesterday, if documents have Placeholder = Yes, then their document state will be blank. Note this was an oversight in my previous comment.

Thanks,

Morgan

Thanks, Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan .

Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh : you can ignore my request #2 above re: adding "Published" status to those 897 UINs. Please address only #1 as screen captured below and let me know once it is complete.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan and Paul Moon Paul ,

The BIT/0619 document we have not migrated.

Rest of following 4 UIN's XML we have converted into html and also taken PDF files from legacy application and migrated on both rebuild.islg & staging.islg.

  • BIT/0107
  • BIT/0121
  • BIT/1025
  • FTA/0037

Please check and confirm.
Paul Moon
Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

Are you saying you cannot migrate BIT/0619 or you will convert the
BIT/0619 XML to HTML soon?

Also, I've tested the 4 XMLs you've converted to HTML and found an issue where I cannot view the HTML on the staging live site even though HTML is correctly uploaded on the staging admin site. Note that I could view the French version of BIT/0107 (BIT/01226) as shown in the video.

Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT
Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

The BIT/0619 UIN's PDF & HTML uploaded on both rebuild.islg & staging.islg. Please check and confirm.

The Second issue is also resolved to view html  on subscriber side for both rebuild.silg & staging.islg.

Please check and confirm.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

There are two more issues as shown in the video below:
  1.  BIT/0619 HTML and PDF are still not displayed properly on rebuild.islg and staging.islg. HTML cannot be found on the admin site; and
  2.  BIT/1025 PDF isn't uploaded properly on the admin site, and it shows an error message.

Please fix them and let me know.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

This issue is resolved on both rebuild.islg and staging.islg.

Please check and confirm.

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

We checked and found that PDF file is loading fine on both rebuild.islg and staging.islg.

Could you please clear your cache and check again.
Paul Moon
Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

I always use incognito browser. BIT/1025 PDF is loading fine now.

We went back and forth about the status of "skip upload functionality" UINs (e.g., BIT/0080) between leaving it blank or marking it published, but the last communication that I have been forwarded is below where Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan and Melissa Cowell, General Manager at Industrial Melissa subsequently approved your suggestion that you will make "skip upload functionality" UINs published.

However, both staging and rebuild sites still show many UINs with status blank, preventing them from displaying data under Article Citator.

Can you confirm whether you're still working on it or not?

Thanks,

Paul
