Paul has identified some outstanding issues that still need to be addresses with this to-do. He'll post video summarizing the problem shortly.

Note the user shouldn't see any modification to the page they are viewing when selecting "Save Draft". The saving should be done in background without affecting the page being viewed (similar to when you select save in Google Docs).

Harsh , let us know how feasible it is to get this fixed in the next couple of days. Ideally we'd like this fixed before get our data capture team to start their work on rebuild.islg next week. 
 
Note it would be ideal if the page didn't need to reload and could save in background, but I'm not sure if that's technically feasible.

Hi Morgan ,

Technically, It is not possible to open the form remain as it is while click on save draft button because we need make round trip from server side.

Currently, We are posting whole form (ex. all entered data) to server to save the data and due to this requirement we changed the way to same entry open again through list page.so user does not want to click entry again.

As discussed. We will live with current "Save Draft" requirements, and then revisit this issue post-launch.
