TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild

Connect to JP Citator result through on-hover links

Assigned to
Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh P.
Notes
Further to the video below, please create a link within the on-hover Jurisprudence Citator results that appear in the Dispute Document card that would open a separate browser tab and connect the user directly to the applicable results. This should apply both to the general dispute document on-hover and the specific references on-hover:

Please modify the on-hovers as follows:
  • All references: 59 references to document in Jurisprurdence Citator: view results
  • Specific references: 15 references to paragraph/footnote in Jurisprudence Citator: view results

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

If the count is 0 then will hide the view result link Right ? And, I want to ask you that specific reference always be in Paragraph and Footnote or there will be also other Citation type like Page, Chapter Section etc.. ?
Morgan Maguire, CEO
Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Yes, that makes sense. No need to make any modifications to those documents that have a 0 count.

Regarding your second question, because all the documents with on-hover references are Dispute Documents (rather than Non-Investment Treaty Dispute Documents), they should always be referring to the Paragraph or Footnote, but why do you ask? Also, do you need any direction on how the design of the links from Naomi Joanis, UX Team Lead at Industrial Naomi and Melissa Cowell, General Manager at Industrial Melissa ?

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin and Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush ,

The changes look good; however, further to the video below, I think we need to refine things a little to make it more user friendly:
  1. Change the place of the arrow that appears at the top of the on-hover modal so that is points at the applicable paragraph:
  2. Change the "view results" links to make it easier to select them by turning "All references" and "Specific references" into the linked text:

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan and Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

We have updated the link text on staging.islg. you can check it.  Point out the arrow to correct position will need industrial help for CSS.

Naomi Joanis, UX Team Lead at Industrial Naomi , Could you please see above attached video or image of Morgan and provide updated CSS to point out the arrow to correct Paragraph. You can check this arrow position on staging.islg.

Hi Naomi Joanis, UX Team Lead at Industrial Naomi ,

If possible then do this change on high-priority as we need to complete this task by this week.

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin and Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Is it possible to make these changes to the CSS without Industrial's assistance. They are already working on a high priority item for ILG.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

We need on hover CSS as per attached imaged by Morgan but arrow should point out that paragraph number where hover display.

We tried but not able to set through CSS.  It is not major thing so designer can do quickly.

Hi Naomi Joanis, UX Team Lead at Industrial Naomi ,

Based on Harsh's comment, and since I am not yet completely setup to code and compile on my laptop, I think that the shortest route to making the CSS changes would be through your developer.

Do they have the bandwidth to do it this week? If not, I will add a bug in the backlog and we'll include it as part of our next sprint.

Thanks,

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh

You just need to change this in Common.css:

.tooltip-elem .tooltiptext.arrow-left::after {
left: 50%;
left:25px;
}
