Currently, the Damages Claimed field shown below allows one to enter up to 9 digits of figure. The maximum I can input is 999,999,999. We need to be able to insert up to 12 digits of figure (e.g., 999,999,999,999). Currently, the field wouldn't register any number that exceeds 9 figures.
Increasing the maximum number of characters is a high priority. The comma between every 1000 is not but will need to be resolved at some point. I suggested resolving the second to-do in conjunction with the first only if it makes sense to resolve them together.
Thanks,
Morgan

Hi
Morgan
,
If we need comma seprator then we need to remove validation that only number and decimal value is allowed.
Because, In admin side we set validation that only numeric and decimal value is allowed in numeric and currency field.
If we set comma separator on those field then we need to remove that validation.
Please confirm.

If it makes sense to resolve the to-do in conjunction with this to-do: https://3.basecamp.com/3691577/buckets/5559242/todos/2756916216, please do so.
Thanks,

Can we take this change as high priority ?
