TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild

Duplicate Tribunal Historical Data

Notes
Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

There is a duplicate entry for former arbitrator "Professor Brigitte Stern" in UN/0072.
As far as I've reviewed historical data, we only list the name of the arbitrator and the effective date of change for the former arbitrators (not the start date).

In UN/0072, the effective date of change is correct, but there are duplicate entries.

The issue exists on both app.islg and staging.islg:

Also, I am not sure why, but on both app.islg and staging.islg, the effective date of change for arbitrator Professor Georges Abi-Saab has been listed above the name of the arbitrator whereas normally the name of the arbitrator is listed first followed by the "effective date of change".

Could we fix these entries?

Thanks,

Nafiseh

Hi Nafiseh Arghandehpour, Legal Content Manager at ISLG Nafiseh ,

Could you check to see what the source data in the Article Citator Master says about this issue? I want to confirm whether there is a broader migration issue here before I report the issue to Harsh.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan ,

I checked Article citator master (dated 3 Dec 2020). There is no duplicate entry. I checked the historical data in other UINs where there is more than one entry under historical data for Arbitrator (president), Arbitrator appointed by claimant and Arbitrator appointed by respondent. This was the only example of a duplicate.

While checking other entries, I realized that when there is more than one historical data entry under Arbitrator (president), Arbitrator appointed by claimant and Arbitrator appointed by respondent, the system lists both the start date and effective date of change for the most recent historical data (so what I raised earlier in my previous comment should not be an issue).

However, the way the name of the arbitrator and effective date of change is displayed on the live site is not consistent. Here are some examples:

IC/0164- Screen capture of staging.islg live site:

The issue with UN/0072 seems to be a one-off issue, but as for the ordering of the name(s) of the arbitrator(s) and effective date of change, I think this is something we need to consider as a broader issue. Do you want me to ask Harsh to fix UN/0072 separately as we occasionally ask him to fix historical data (as we are not able to do it ourselves), and create a separate to-do for the ordering of name(s) of the arbitrator(s) and effective date of change?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Nafiseh

Ok. Thanks Nafiseh Arghandehpour, Legal Content Manager at ISLG Nafiseh . I think I understand the problem here. The wrong field is getting displayed for "Effective: [DATE]" next to the current arbitrator. Rather that display the start date for the current arbitrator, it is displaying the start date for the previous arbitrator:

I'll report this and get this changed in the application.

On the other hand any inaccuracies in the historical data will need to manual altered by DevIT, so could you please create a new to-do that outlines precisely what changes in the data that need to be made on app.islg.

Thanks,

Morgan

Note I'm going to complete this to-do, because we'll be resolving these issue through separate to-do's.

Thanks,

Morgan

Thank you, Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan .

As for the inaccuracies in the historical data that will need to be manually altered by DevIT, I'll create a new to-do that outlines what changes in the data need to be made on app.islg. Can I assign the to-do directly to Harsh?

As for the other issue i.e. the order in which the Previous Arbitrator and Effective date of change are displayed, can I go ahead and create a separate to-to? Here are examples of inconsistency as outlined above:
