As shown below, when an admin user edits SN entry paragraph or footnote, Subject Navigator Master Tree deleted surrounding paragraph numbers while Analysis List editor doesn't. There shouldn't be any discrepancy between the two different options re: deleting behaviour.
The video is taken from IC/0435/03. When I try to delete fn103 from SN Master Tree, it deletes paragraphs 82 and 83 as well, while if I try to do the same under Analysis List, it doesn't have an issue.
This change is done on staging.islg. The issue was in Analysis List. if the tag is created in group for example (pa1, pa10, fn1). Now, if you remove any tag pill from analysis list or SN master tree then it will remove all 3 tags as they have combined to each other.

Hi
Harsh
:
Even if a tag is created in a group, the whole point of HTML paragraph numbering is to distinguish and identify different portions of the HTML. Based on my testing on staging.islg, surrounding paragraph/footnote references still get deleted, we need to be able to remove a tag for fn103 in the above example without deleting paragraph 82 and 83. As far as I can see, the issue is not resolved on staging.islg.
