Hi
Kishan
and
Morgan
,
We looked into this issue and the issue is occurred due to bind the chart image in excel or pdf. We are binding the chart image using 3rd Party API. However, don't know why suddenly that 3rd party API throwing error while creating chart image.
Tomorrow, We will look into it and resolve it.

Hi
Morgan
and
Kishan
,
We are still working on resolving this issue. This is not related to our code. It's due to a web service we use (highcharts.com) that has been dealing with DDOS attacks for the past few days.

: see https://github.com/highcharts/highcharts/issues/16530. This thread might contain the latest details on the issue. Do we send the request async? If so, the developers suggest we change to sync.

OK. Thanks for the update
Martin
. I assume this will affect users ability to generate PDF usage reports on the subscriber side of the application as well? Where else do we use highcharts.com?

Hi
Morgan
,
Yes, we use highcharts whenever we have a need to export a chart to an image, such as when we generate PDF usage reports. If we can't find a way to work around the issue, and assuming that highcharts is unable to improve its situation in the short term, we might need to look at another service.

Ok. Thanks
Martin
. Let's keep a close eye on this, because I'm concerned it might be affecting some features in the Research Notepad as well.

Hi
Kishan
and
Morgan
,
All report functions are working again. I believe Highcharts was able to resolve the issues they were having. If we end up encountering this again, we might want to look at switching to a commercial provider.
Thanks, --Martin

Could we conclude this issue is resolved via Usage report error - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild for Tologix or should we leave this item open?
Thanks,
Paul
