SN Master Tree on app.islg is missing a very useful function "view in master tree" from legacy admin site. Could you add that function to app.islg SN Master Tree?
Never mind
Paul
. I misunderstood the purpose to the to-do. Having said that, would it make sense if we inserted "Expand All" within each branch to serve this purpose?
OK. Great. Let's do with that, because it would fit within the existing UI.
Naomi
, do you agree with this approach?

Hi
Morgan
,
As the search results are filtering out any branches that do not contain the keyword, technically it could be a larger change to include an "expand all" function that would include branches that don't have the searched term.
Paul
, could that work for you if we inserted a "View in context" link that would open the full branch in a separate tab?

the "View in context" issues is something we're hoping to eliminate on the subscriber side when we implement these items:
Perhaps we should perform the heavy lift and come up with a technical solution that would resolve this on both the subscriber and admin site SN searches.

Hi
Morgan
:
If a "View in context" link takes admin users to the full branch (the exact location, not to the top or bottom of the branch) in a separate tab, that would work. The legacy site takes admin users to the branch on the same tab, but a separate tab would be fine.
Thanks,
Paul

Ok.
Paul
, perhaps test the way it functions on the subscriber site to confirm whether this would satisfy your needs.
At the same time, I'm interested to hear what

Martin
have to say about how we're planning to implement items 244 and 245, because I think this will determine how we'll proceed on this issue.

Hi
Morgan
:
The way how "View in Context" currently works on the app.islg subscriber site SN search function will work for admin users.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi

,
The View Context link in admin site similar as subscriber side will be OK as technically.
For Following 2 items, We need to take Joint call with Radomir & Naomi.
This is a medium priority request.
Perhaps this could be combined into the same to-do you posted previously, because these appear to be a similar issue.
Thanks,
Morgan
Are you referring to SN "Add New Subject" exit option - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild? If so, I'll combine it and mark this post complete.
Thanks,
Paul
Inserting "Expand all" would work just as well.
Thanks,
Paul

This was a similar problem to what we experienced on the subscriber side (https://industrialagency.tpondemand.com/entity/22260-for-launch-sn-search-result-view) and I believe adding a link to "view in context" or "view in tree" might be a more feasible approach in terms of how the search results are being shown currently.
Let me know your thoughts,
