TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild

IC/0416/01 - Issues on the Live Site

Assigned to

Notes
I was assigned to review data capture for IC/0416/01. I was advised by Katrina Law, Legal Content Specialist at Tologix Katrina who did the data transfer that some HTML tags may not display as there were some technical issues (already resolved under this to-do: Re: IC/0416/01 - HTML not recognizing tag location - TOLOGIX - PDF to HTML Conversion). However, the references were appearing in the analysis list.

I've tagged Katrina Law, Legal Content Specialist at Tologix Katrina so she could comment on this if necessary, but it appears that she was able to add all the tags and that the technical issues were resolved.
I reviewed the analysis list and made sure all the references appear in the analysis list. This document is published now, and when I check it on the live site, I see there are two main issues as regards how the data displays on the live site:
1- The highlights appear in the wrong place in the HTML;
2- The users are not directed to the specific location where the referenced legal instrument appears. I have provided some examples in the video below:

Link to the dispute document view: https://app.investorstatelawguide.com/DocumentView?rt=Wk21nmb-fNY%3D&docid=l9UgDLX9hsc%3D

I also did some spot checks under Article citator, Jurisprudence citator, and Publication citator on the live site. Under Article Citator, there are some references for which there are no highlights or the highlights are not where they are supposed to appear. I have provided an example in the video below:

I found two different issues under publication citator:
1- the text of the citing reference does not appear when I select it under "All references", but it appears when I select it under "Specific references"

Also, on the admin site, analysis list, the reference to "PUB/1896/4193" under paragraph 305 appear once whereas, on the live site, it's repeated 5 times:

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit ,

The Publication 2 issues will be resolved by tomorrow on app.islg.

But, In AC module for following 2 points we need to remove existing all AC tags for this documents.

1- The highlights appear in the wrong place in the HTML;
2- The users are not directed to the specific location where the referenced legal instrument appears.

As we found that the start position and end position for co-ordinate is not match with html co-ordinates. In above thread I checked that after started tagging, the html  structured was changed hence the html co-ordinate is not matching with database co-ordinates.

Please provide your confirmation. As document is published so will provide you same document on Analyze Data Capture task on app.islg after remove the tags.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Assuming it is the only solution, please go ahead and remove all AC tags, and let us know when we can recreate the tags for Article Citator.

Thanks,

Nafiseh

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit and Nafiseh Arghandehpour, Legal Content Manager at ISLG Nafiseh ,

We have removed only AC tags for this document and update the status for Ready for Analysis. so you can create AC tag again on same document and publish again.

We also resolved the both issues of PC module so once you will publish this document you can check on app.islg.

We haven't update any task history so all task you can see completed.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Thanks for letting us know. I'll create AC tags and once it is published, I'll check the document on the live site, and let you know if the issues with the Article citator as well as the Publication citator are resolved.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

As discussed in the other to-do (Re: UN/0101/14 Issues on the Live Site - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild), there is a similar issue in UN/0101/14. Depending on whether creating AC tags after removing them will resolve the issues in IC/0416/01, we will consider the same solution for UN/0101/14.

Thanks,

Nafiseh

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

I created all Article Citator tags for IC/0416/01 and published the document.
I spot-checked the document references on the live site, and they all looked good. The issues with the two publication references are also resolved.

As per our previous discussions, I assume you are going to delete all the tags in UN/0101/14, so I could do the same. Could you please confirm it in the relevant to-do (Re: UN/0101/14 Issues on the Live Site - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild)?

I'll mark this to-do as complete.

Thanks,

Nafiseh
