Notes
Hello,

I'm having an issue with the jurisprudence citator as I am unable to create tags where the paragraph number has decimal point in it. In the video below I am tagging document IC/0416/01 and I cannot create a tag which references paragraph 4.164. This issue seems to happen frequently but not all the time. I have been able to create tags referencing paragraphs with decimal points on a few occasions.

Thanks,

Katrina

Hi Katrina Law, Legal Content Specialist at Tologix Katrina ,

We checked above things and as per requirement if document is not pdf only. it means document has html and when you select paragraph then only paragraph number listed which are available in html.

We can see that for UIN : IC/0146/03 has html document and that html do not have decimal paragraph 4.164. Hence you can not able get this decimal paragraph number.

Hi Katrina Law, Legal Content Specialist at Tologix Katrina ,

As Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh has pointed out this appears to an issue with the way the document is referenced in IC/0416/01, rather than an issue with the application or the HTML in IC/0146/03. The tribunal in IC/0416/01 decided to use the reference to paragraph "4.164", rather than just paragraph "164". Therefore, the reference just needs to be entered as reference to "164", which should be available in your list of options in Paragraph Reference(s) in Cited Document field.

Please take note of this going forward. In some cases the tribunal may use a paragraph reference that conflicts with how we have numbered our paragraphs. In such cases, you may need to examine the applicable HTML and enter the reference as the equivalent paragraph reference in our numbering system.

I'm going to market this to-do complete.

Thanks,

Morgan
