Further to the video below, currently is appears that changes in data entered into the Dispute form do not trigger notifications for Followed Dispute, Treaties and Arbitration Rules. Could you confirm whether this is a deficiency in the requirements or another bug in the Followed Topics feature.
What I'm hoping to achieve here is to allow users to receive notifications for all instances when new data relevant to Treaties, Arbitration Rules, People, Organizations and Countries is added to the applicable Dispute form, which would translate into the following:- Followed Topic: Dispute
- A notification is sent to the user if data in any of the fields is changed or added in the Dispute form (including all Dispute Details fields and Legal Analytics Details)
- Followed Topic: Treaty
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed treaty is entered into the Applicable Instrument(s) field within a Dispute form
- Followed Topic: Arbitration Rules
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed arbitration rules is entered into the Applicable Rules field within a Dispute form
- Followed Topic: Person
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed person is entered into any of the fields under the following fields sets
- COUNSEL
- EXPERTS
- TRIBUNAL
- ANNULMENT COMMITTEE
- TRIBUNAL (RESUBMISSION)
- ANNULMENT COMMITTEE (RESUBMISSION)
- ARBITRATOR(S) CHALLENGES
- COUNSEL CHALLENGES
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed person is entered into any of the fields under the following fields sets
- Followed Topic: Organization
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed organization is entered into any of the fields under the following fields sets
- COUNSEL
- EXPERTS
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed organization is entered into any of the fields under the following fields sets
- Followed Topic: Country
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed organization is entered into any of the fields under the following fields sets
- PARTIES
- PLACE OF ARBITRATION
- TRIBUNAL
- ANNULMENT COMMITTEE
- TRIBUNAL (RESUBMISSION)
- ANNULMENT COMMITTEE (RESUBMISSION)
- A notification is sent to the user if the followed organization is entered into any of the fields under the following fields sets
- Followed Topic: Dispute
Could you confirm whether the requirements I've outlined above are beyond what is currently setup with the Followed Topics feature. I understand that Followed Topics for People, Organizations and Countries is not available, because we haven't completed the Followed Topics feature within ISLG Report, but I want to confirm that there isn't a regression issue when following a Dispute or Treaty/Arbitration Rules.
Post-launch, we'll want to make it a priority for us to implement the requirements above.
Also, please note the bug in Followed Topics for Treaties and Arbitration Rules:
Thanks,
Morgan
Both of the above scenarios are expected behaviour for following a dispute and being notified of a change on the dispute record, and also being notified when your followed treaty/rule is applicable to a dispute.
Maybe
Thanks,
Morgan
The issue is resolved and you will receive a dispute Notification. Please see attached video.
Thanks,
Morgan
Just confirming whether the updates to the Followed Topics features have been implemented on staging.islg so that

Today, We are deploying following 3 tasks on app.islg. Once deployment is done on app.islg then tomorrow will sync app.islg and staging.islg.
Once syncing process will be done then Naomi can test on staging.islg.
I will update you once it will be done.
Thanks,
Morgan
Today, We have synced staging.islg same as app.islg.
Thanks,
Morgan
I've completed a round of testing on this feature and found most followed topics are working as expected, but there seem to be two items that aren't working and one I'm highlighting that was never developed but may want to be revisited post-launch to implement when we implement the followed topic in ISLG reports.
Thanks,
Naomi
As discussed, please determine how easily we can resolved the issues above. Issue #1 and #3 are a higher priority, but issue #2 can be resolved at a later date if will require significant development work.
Thanks,
Morgan
Here is the video related to item #1 on the list:
I retested #3 and it is working for me so I think that was a mistake on my end.
Thanks,
Naomi
There is a problem with email notifications of my followed topics as shown in the video. I received over 70 emails notifying me of the same update.
Thanks,
Paul

Thanks,
Morgan
No I didn't experience this when testing it last week on staging.
I received one email per notification/followed topic.
Thanks,
Morgan
Just following-up on the issues reported above, could you provide an update on whether we'll be able to get this resolved as a high priority bug. As mentioned, I'm concerned that subscriber may be experiencing a similar issue.
Thanks,
Morgan
Today, We will complete the development of our 1st Priority task. so once it will be done then will switch to this task.
We will let you know once it will be done.
Morgan
As per your attached video on 16th April for 1st item has been resolved on staging.islg. Please check and confirm.
Regarding Paul issue for multiple mail, We are not able to find the issue as it is working properly.
The Criteria is if you followed any dispute and if any admin user anytime click on Save & Draft or Save & Exit then you will get notification for same dispute.
I've checked for that issue and I'm still not receiving a notification for a new dispute document added to a followed dispute.
I've checked this on staging with the same dispute that is shown in the above video.
Please let me know how you think I should proceed here.
Thanks,
Naomi
Thanks,
Morgan
I turned off the email notification after reporting the issue, so I am not getting bombarded with repeated emails. We will be releasing a new court judgment for Hulley Enterprises v. Russia (UN/0039), so you can use that dispute as an example.
Thanks,
Paul
Also, do you mind turning the email notification on for the topic you had trouble with above to confirm whether it is still triggering the emails?
Morgan
I published UN/0039/54.
I turned on the email notification that bombarded me, but I get the emails again as shown below while UN/0039/54 refers to neither Hydro v. Albania nor Funnekotter v. Zimbabwe.
Thanks,
Paul
Also, note that I just received a notification for Hulley Enterprises v. Russia and it appeared to work as expected.
Morgan
Could you please check with follow new dispute and then again publish the dispute document under same dispute on staging.islg.
I tested this and I did receive a notification for a newly added dispute document under a different dispute. I also at the same time received the notification for the previous dispute I tried to test for yesterday.. I'm not sure why it was delayed?
Thanks,
Naomi

On staging.islg, I followed UN/0041 Veteran Petroleum and published a document. I correctly received one email notification.
On app.islg, I followed UN/0040 Yukos Universal and published a document. I correctly received one email notification.
It appears the issue is confined to Hydro v. Albania and Funnekotter v. Zimbabwe.
Thanks,
Paul
Do we have any content for Hydro v. Albania and Funnekotter v. Zimbabwe that we'll publishing any time soon. If so, we could delete your current Followed Topics, add them back and see if that resolves the issue.
Morgan
We don't have any new content for Hydro v. Albania and Funnekotter v. Zimbabwe, but I ran the following test on app.islg.
I deleted existing Followed Topics and added them back. I followed Hydro v. Albania as a Dispute and Funnekotter v. Zimbabwe Award 22 April 2009 as a Dispute Document. Once I created draft and published Hydro v. Albania Annulment Decision (IC/0249/07), I received one notification; the problem is no longer present.
However, once I created draft and published Funnekotter v. Zimbabwe Award 22 April 2009 (IC/0098/01), I do not get any notification. It looks like Following a topic at the dispute level works, but not at the Dispute Document level.

I clicked on "Follow Topic" at the bottom of the screen.

Could you please provide video that in which scenario you are not able to getting notification on staging.islg ?
We tried from our end to followed the Dispute Document and published the draft version and we get notification.
I recorded what I described above on staging.islg.
Following-up on
Therefore, I would expect because
Morgan
As per requirement, you can not get dispute document notification when you just published the dispute document.
For Followed Dispute Document, as per requirement if that dispute document using in JC tool and then you published the document then you will get notification.
When I follow a dispute document, not a dispute, do I get a notification only if there is a change to its analysis list (citator entries or SN entries)?
If that is the case, I'll mark this complete once you confirm.
Thanks,
Paul
There is no notification for a change in the dispute document record fields like there is for disputes. You would get a notification when there has been analysis performed, like SN entries for example.
I think you can likely mark this complete in this case.
Thanks,
Naomi

Could you please complete this task and will deploy this on next Tuesday.
