This feedback is technically challenged. We are not able to open dynamically another popup inside popup because whole popup are open dynamically.

We are looking in to it but we are not able to open popup inside another popup.

Ok, Harsh . How did this pass UAT then?

Melissa and Naomi , was there an alternative UI for dealing with this in other parts of the forms, because I recall reviewing something where the second pop-up opened in a different browser tab that worked?

We really need to get this resolved as soon as possible, so that my team can complete their testing of the admin site.

We are looking and do some r&d to open popup inside popup.

But, if this solution is not worked then the solution which you suggest that open master in new tab from popup will be work.

Please confirm that if first solution will not work then can we go with your suggested solution?

The original design had to change due to a technical limitation that only allows us to add a new entry up to one level deeper than the current form
(ie:  person > org not person > org > country)

I believe the agreed solution was as suggested above, the master list record for either org or country would need to be opened in a new tab.

As discussed above, While any user will click on +Add New link from inside popup the master will open in new tab to enter the data.

Please check and confirm.

Hi Harsh ,

The issues above are resolved. However, I discovered a related issue with the "Appointing Authority" field in the Dispute form when the admin user decides to "+ Add New" and then selects the "Open full form" option. Further to the video below, after the entry is added through the full form, the entry is not available as an option in the "Appointing Authority" field unless the user exits the form, and comes back. Could we please ensure the options are immediately available similar to Counsel: Person and Counsel: Organizations fields.

The Appointing Authority field is drop down field. For drop down control, technically, we need to refresh the page to populate the see newly added data.

But, In searchable dropdown and multi select control it will be populated without refresh the page.

Hence, people data will be populated and for appointing authority field you need to refresh the page or make that control searchable drop down.

Ok, Harsh ​. That's good to know. I suppose we'll keep things as is for time being, because adding entries to the Administing Institutions master list will be rare, but something to note if we come across it in other fields. I suppose this will be a reason to use searchable dropdowns, rather than dropdown fields in the future.
