✔ Problem with Aritcle Citator excerpt indicator in sidebar

Notes: Further to the video below, there is a problem with the Article Citator excerpt indicator in the sidebar when adding new entries.

I performed some tests in order to recreate this issue and I believe I understand what is happening. In your example, it is likely that some combination of the excerpts share the same reference.

For example:

Excerpt 1 references ARB1 Rule 2
Excerpt 2 references ARB2 Generally

This will create 2 separate references

Excerpt 3 references ARB1 Rule 2

Excerpt 1 & 3 will be combined into a single entry because they reference the same Instrument and Rule.

I don't believe this is a bug as we have discussed this implementation with the dev team previously and they are not able to separate these. Can you verify that this is the case in your test document?

You're right, what you've outlined above is the cause of the issue, and the video below provides my assessment. Could we have a call to discuss on how to resolve this issue, because this will be a big problem particularly for provisions that are referenced dozens of times across long documents.

Sounds good. This probably warrants a more in-depth discussion, that doesn't need everyone on the call tomorrow. Why don't we plan on tagging it on to the call tomorrow after we've reviewed everything else.

During our last team call on June 25th we discussed possible solutions to the issue above (see 42-54 minutes: 2020-06-25 08.19.32 Bi-Weekly Tologix-DevIT-Industrial Meeting 81175607260.mp4 - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild). We didn't arrive at any feasible solutions during the call, but I'm going to add it to the agenda for Thursday's call, so please give it some further thought on possible solutions.

Further to the video below and a discussion of the issue above with

, we are requesting an additional change that will cause the relevant excerpted text to become brighter when the the admin user is hovering over the relevant bubble, sidebar line or has entry open. This will allow the admin user to clearly identify the relevant excerpt by distinguishing the text from other excerpts.
