Further to the video below, we have noticed that most of the searches (Article Citator, Jurisprudence Citator, Publication Citator, Terms & Phrases, ISLG Reports, Treaties & Rules, Dispute & Dispute Documents, Browse People Profiles, Browse Organization Profiles, Browse Disputes Library, Browser Treaties & Rules Library) in application require exact matches to produce results, and that terms that contains accented characters do not produce a match unless the accented character is included in the search. Could we please change this so that the search disregards the accents when generating results? Here is a list I found online that provides a guide on how diacritical marks can be grouped by the English alphabet: http://pinyin.info/unicode/diacritics.html
Note this is something we already implemented within the legacy application and currently works well across the different searches. Perhaps we could emulate the instance there within the new application before launch.
This change has been done on app.islg.
