Items #1 and #3 are now resolved in this to-do, but we still need to resolve #2, which requires some of the changes I outlined here: Re: Related documents from dispute - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild and here: Problem with presentation of options in "use value from existing field" - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild. I understand that the "+ add another" function may present some significant technical challenges, but could we implement the multi-select option in timeline fashion?

Create a multi-select option within the "Data/Values Field":

This would allow us to create value lists that contain values across multiple fields in a form, and would serve the purposes for the "Author of Separate Opinion" field, and other fields where we need to pull all People records associated with a dispute.

Hi Melissa and Harsh ,

Following up on my comment above concerning the multiple-select option in the Data/Value field, is it possible for us to implement this change? As I'm building the Legal Analytics fields, there are a number of fields where we need this feature. In particular, I need to build fields where the dropdown menu options are limited to only People master list entries associated with a Dispute.

Harsh , would it be technically difficult to implement this?

Yes Morgan . It is major change in Meta Field Page and also database level structure. Also, we need to check how this kind of data will be populated dynamically.

The request above requires the 'Data values' field to be multi-select. 
Also, please note that this functionality will be critical to the reporting feature.

I Know the story.. But, if we provide multiselect in data value then we create new mapping table to store multiple data value and also change in all master form rendering the pull the data by combined those values from new datable.

We also need to change in all master forms as well.

Wouldn't the process of combining values be very similar with the "Use values from existing fields"?

No Morgan . The data value field under Use Value list is not same thing as Select Option field. 

We will also discuss this thing on Monday's call.
