I'd like to request a change of requirements for Treaties and Arbitration Rules Provision Description field.

On the rebuild Admin Site, when an Article Citator Display checkbox is checked AND the Provision Description field is empty, no provision description (Display name) data appears under rebuild Admin Site -> Master Tree and Reports -> ARTICLE CITATOR CATEGORIES

Request to change requirements for Treaties and Arbitration Rules provision description field, two options A and B:

(A) If the Article Citator Display checkbox is checked AND the Provision Description Field is empty, please copy the Provision Code Term to the Provision Description field.  However, if the Provision Description field is not empty, then leave it as-is.

(B) If the Article Citator Display checkbox is checked AND the Provision Description Field is empty, please display the Provision Code Term on the Live Site. If the Article Citator Display checkbox is checked and the Provision Description field is not empty, please display the text entered in the Provision Description field on the Live Site.

We did this change as per your requirement on rebuild.islg. If Description field is blank and Article Citator Checkbox is checked then we entered the Provision Code in to the description field.

Yes, you uploaded the data according to the requirements, but as Irit Weinfeld Irit ​ has pointed out there is a problem with the legacy data that we didn't accomodate in the requirements.

Irit Weinfeld Irit ​ has outlined two proposed solutions, which do you think would be the most efficient to implement, because manually correcting this across all the Treaties and Arbitration Rules isn't feasible?

Maybe I should clarify, the problem isn't that the provision is getting omitted from the list of provisions in the Article Citator. The problem is that when the provision description field is blank, the provision appears blank as the value for that option when pulling the value for populating the list of provisions for that Treaty or Arbitration Rules. We need to it to default to the tag value when the provision description field is blank AND the Article Citator display field is selected.

We updated the query on rebuild.islg. You can check it. If Description field is blank and Article Checkbox is checked then we entered provision code into description field.

You can check on rebuild.islg admin side.
