Issue with IC/0079/13, Railroad Development v. Guatemala Award

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin ,

I CCd you in an email from Chris Thomas today.  For some reason he sees overlapping text on his screen in one particular document. I do not have the same issue. Is there a reason why he sees overlapping text?

The screen capture he provided is from paragraph 233 of Railroad Development Corporation v. Republic of Guatemala, ICSID Case No. ARB/07/23, Award, 29 June 2012

Screen capture from Irit,
Document Library, Disputes & Dispute Documents, Railroad Development Corporation v. Republic of Guatemala, ICSID Case No. ARB/07/23, Award, 29 June 2012

Thanks,
Irit

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Is this issue caused by bad HTML?
Please investigate and report back. I have created DevOps task https://dev.azure.com/tologix/ISLGRebuild/_workitems/edit/1995 for this.

I'm also copying Hiren Patel Hiren since he is also chasing a similar overlapping issue with ILG documents.

Thanks,
-Martin

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Also, please note that this issue seems to be environment or browser-specific.
Chris (using Chrome) encountered it, but Irit (also using Chrome) did not.

Thanks, Irit Weinfeld Irit .

Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh : are we dealing with an issue with our software, or with how some HTML documents are coded? If this issue is due to bad HTML, why does the document show correctly in some instances?

Hi Irit Weinfeld Irit :

Yes, it works for me correctly under both options you indicated above. Please do not mark this done until we hear from Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush below.

Piyush Kanpariya, DevIT Piyush : I asked you a question on DevOps, so please let us know if you can catch all the HTMLs with the same issue before we can mark this complete.

Thanks,

Paul
Irit Weinfeld Will do.
