When an admin user reviews data capture, the following issues came up as shown in the video (IC/0576/01):
  • Sidebar indicating there is a highlight is showing in the HTML itself, not on the side; and
  • Some bubbles are overlapping to the point where it appears invisible
I had to publish IC/0576/01 for this week, but if you cannot recreate these issues, I'll have another document not published.

This should be addressed as soon as possible.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh ,

Please add this to the unplanned/critical issues list.

Thanks,

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

This task is done on staging.islg. Please check and confirm. Also, Due overlap bubble we can't do anything due to margin and design limitation. It is overlapped if tag is same for so many times and there is no space available in html.

Hi Martin Laporte, CTO at Tologix Martin and Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh :

If appropriate sidebars are opening up the modal where admin users can review tags instead of bubbles, it might be a workaround. However, staggered bubbles would be highly desirable in order to avoid inefficiencies during the DCD review process.

Alternatively, if the ability to edit analysis data directly through the Analysis List within a dispute document (second item mentioned here: Re: Create ability to edit excerpts and analysis data directly through the Document Text and Analysis... - TOLOGIX - ISLG App Rebuild) is implemented soon, it may alleviate this issue. I understand it might be a significant task, so I'll let Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan decide.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

Has issue #1 been resolved above? If so, you should be able to select the sidebar itself, rather than the bubble when the bubbles are overlapping? Otherwise, unless we make a major change to the HTML template, I'm suspecting it will be difficult to resolve the overlapping bubble issue.

Hi Morgan Maguire, CEO Morgan :

Sidebars appearing in the middle of HTML randomly occurs (it is not an issue that is present throughout dispute documents), so I can't confirm now, but we can test it in the next DCDs to check.

Nafiseh Arghandehpour, Legal Content Manager at ISLG Nafiseh and Irit Weinfeld Irit : when you transfer the next two DCDs (IC/0275/07 and IC/0398/03), could you check if sidebars ever appear in the middle of HTMLs and if they do, could you check if they could be clicked on for you to edit (instead of bubbles)?

Thanks,

Paul
