✔ Updating published documents under 'Dispute Document Details' without creating a draft

We would like to ask DevIT to look into the possibility of making this update:

Currently, when a dispute document is published, the only way to make edits under 'Dispute Document Details' is to create a draft which could be a slow process at times when there is analysis in the document. Considering the fact that we need to add ‘related documents’ frequently, I think that would be great if we could have the option to update the info under 'Dispute Document Details' without creating a draft.

Hi Harsh Parikh, Tech Lead at DevIT Harsh and Martin:

I am realizing updating "Dispute Details" under Document Details (e.g., Case Name, Case Number, Status) has implications beyond the individual dispute document UIN in question (Dispute Details v. Dispute Document Details).

Similar to how admin users could edit Legal Analytics details from either Dispute or Dispute Document UIN and any update made gets saved throughout both the Dispute or Dispute Document, could we have an ability to edit "Dispute Details" under dispute document UIN and it gets updated throughout?

Hi Paul Moon Paul ,

Yes. if you edit the Legal Analytics detail or dispute detail then update made gets saved throughout both dispute and dispute document.

Also, I assume that we need to provide ability to just admin user can update the Document Details after document is published. so will provide permission to only document detail tab you can edit it if document is published.

Please correct me if i am wrong.
