Further to user feedback we received from users during a client visit this week, I would like to explore introducing a user notation function on the front-end of ISLG. The idea would be to give front-end users the ability to highlight and comment on the text of HTML documents in the system that would only be accessible to the user when they logged into the notepad feature. In addition, the comments would be accessible if the user shared a research report with another user which contained HTML documents with notations.

This is a nice-to-have item, but I would like us to consider it as part of our upcoming front-end design process.
