Hi
Harsh
:
Attached is the updated UIN Master List. You will find column D "Not migrated" has been added to indicate that the XMLs of UINs you identified above do not need to be migrated.
Just to follow-up on Paul's comments above, please remove these entries from the migration process (i.e., no need to add these entries to the Treaties master list, and there is no need to convert the XMLs), and we'll deal with them post-migration.
Thanks,
Morgan

Hi

:
The column R of the following UINs was mislabelled as placeholders. I've corrected them to "Full XML Document."
The Following UIN we are considering as Full XML Document and we will convert those XML files in to HTML and migrate it.
The remaining Following UIN we are considering Placeholder Full Citation data. so following UIN doesn't required any PDF and HTML to migarte.

The Following 235 UIN We have migrated from UIN Master List. But, these UIN doesn't available in old legacy application as well as Type of XML Document is blank in Sheet.
These appear to be newly added documents where the cell is blank under the Type of XML Document in the UIN Master List. Could you please provide

with instructions on how to deal with these documents and include an updated December 3rd master list.

Hi

:
Those 235 documents either do not have XMLs available yet or we will not upload the XMLs. I've inserted either "No XML" or "Post-Migration XML" under column X "Type of XML document" in the attached UIN Master List.
Does that mean we should make these documents placeholder documents (note this is a specific field we enable in the new application)? Also, do you want these documents active and published in the new application?

Hi
Morgan
:
The ones I marked as "No XML" will not need XMLs as they should be kept inactive in the new application, but I suppose we can use placeholders if the migration requires something in lieu of real XML or PDF.
For "Post-Migration XML" UINs, I was planning on asking
Nafiseh
to use the PDF to HTML converter on the new admin site before we launch to convert PDFs that Nafiseh has already saved on Egnyte during her known dispute audit. The majority of the 235 UINs that
Harsh
identified above falls under this category including a few that are currently being XML'd by CDS since early December. They will eventually all need to be presented in HTML format in the new application as they apply to known disputes where we don't have any documents yet. These UINs will be presented on the new application but not on the existing legacy ISLG live site.

Paul

Ok. We'll upload the documents as placeholders with their status active, but not published. This way the documents will be available for reference in the various tools, but not visible to users on the subscriber side of the application. Note that this will mean the documents will need to be individually published manually at a later date.
We can discuss the process for generating the HTML through external converter application next week: http://dev.convertortool.com/.
Harsh

Upload entries without HTML or PDF
Set Placeholder field to "Yes"
Set the status to "Active"
Set the document state to "Ready for Final Review"

Hi
Morgan
:
Document "Status" isn't blank for any of the documents above. Some are not set to "Active," and the placeholder field is not set to "Yes."
1. Document "Status" is not blank The 235 UINs that
Harsh
listed on December 30th above all have "Ready for editing" under document status instead of blank. BIT/0079 screenshot below shows "Ready for editing," and it is the same for all 235 UINs.
Even though BIT/1308 has been correctly identified as the primary version (English), BIT/1308, BIT/1309 and BIT/1313 are kept "Inactive," while BIT/0915 is kept "Active"
3. Some UINs are not set to "Active" with another "Active" language version which is not included on Harsh's list
5. Placeholder field not set to "Yes" Since the rebuild admin site currently takes some time to show more information about each UIN, I took OTI/0326, BIT/1274 and BIT/1286 for example to see if the placeholder field has been set to "Yes" - it is not set to "Yes" as shown below.
It looks like there are quite a few problems with these documents. Perhaps the best way to resolve this is to export the Treaties Master List from rebuild.islg, make any necessary updates to the relevant fields with the changes highlighted, and then post it below for
Harsh
to make the necessary updates. Otherwise, I'm concerned things might get missed.
